Twilio SMS
Connect your Twilio account to send and receive standard text messages (SMS).
Reach customers natively via SMS by connecting your Twilio account to Handoff. This is perfect for traditional text message support and notifications.
Setup Instructions
- Log in to your Twilio Console.
- From your Twilio dashboard, locate and copy your Account SID and Auth Token. You will also need the specific Twilio Phone Number you wish to use.
- In Handoff, go to Channels in your user menu.
- Click Add Channel and select Twilio SMS.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Account SID
- Auth Token
- Click Fetch Phone Numbers.
- Select a phone number in the result to connect to Handoff.
- Handoff will automatically configure the required connection with Twilio.
