Telegram

Connect a Telegram Bot to your Handoff workspace.

Integrate Telegram to communicate with customers who prefer fast, secure messaging. Handoff connects to Telegram via a Telegram Bot.

Setup Instructions

  1. Open the Telegram app and search for the BotFather (the official bot creation tool by Telegram).
  2. Send the command /newbot and follow the prompts to choose a name and username for your new bot.
  3. Once created, BotFather will give you an API Token (often referred to as a Bot Token). Copy this token.
  4. Go back to Handoff and navigate to Channels in your user menu.
  5. Click Add Channel and select Telegram.
  6. Paste your copied Bot Token into the provided field.
  7. Click Connect Bot. Handoff will automatically configure the required connection with Telegram.

Twilio SMS

Connect your Twilio account to send and receive standard text messages (SMS).
